Worlds are colliding, Jerry! With the exception of e-commerce, which I am by now accustomed to, it still surprises me on occasion to have the world that I view through dual 17" LCD monitors, or through a laptop on my couch, intersect with the world I hold in my hand and carry around in my messenger bag. Specifically I'm referring to the a notebook I just recieved as part of the Wandering Moleskine Project. As I type, I am looking over notebook #1, and making preparations to add my own contribution to a collective journal that is being mailed around the world. So far entries have been made by people in Zachary, LA, Sebastapol, CA, and wherever Joy started the book from. I know it shouldnt surprise me, but its an odd feeling to hold the book in my hand that I'm looking at a picture of on what is essentially someone else's blog. I'll be scanning pages for the website and mailing it off as soon as I can, and then it will go back to being one of those things I see through the screen, a virtual rather than physical reality.
